There are thousands of satellite channels around the world.There are some positive impacts and negative impacts of satellite channels. For positive impacts, firstly, satellite channels are highly entertaining. Secondly, they are educative in nature. Thirdly, the world's culture, politics, trade and commerce, science and technology, games and sports can be known through satellite channels. Fourthly, they broaden our outlook and help us to break down prejudices. Fifthly, they make the process of globalization possible and working. For negative impacts , firstly they accelerate social and moral degradation of young generation by telecasting, obscene and vulgar programs. Next they give rise to cultural intrusion to other nation.
However, we cannot deny the importance of the satellite channels.
