npm ERR while running react native app

I am trying to learn React Native full stack application development and deployment. For that purpose I had cloned a git app and trying to compile and execute it from VS Code. But when I execute npm start, I am getting the below error stack.

I am new to React, doesn't understand even a single statement. Any help or explanation will be highly appreciable.
